Over the span of two decades, Bering has manufactured innovative storage products for the broad range of Hewlett-Packard technical and commercial computers, Apple Macintosh, and PC desktop and network servers. Bering’s strength has always been our ability to make practical storage solutions for industrial, scientific, and legacy computer applications. What distinguishes Bering from many other companies is our expertise to design, adapt, and integrate the latest storage technologies into plug-compatible storage systems. Our solutions incorporate hard disk, removable disk, RAID, and tape backup technologies and emulate H-P’s proprietary HP-IB (IEEE-488) and MAC (HP13037, Multi-Access Disk Controller) interface bus as well as industry standard SCSI-based systems. The company also offers contract engineering services specializing in storage hardware and software technology.
