MultiPac Jaz Obsolescence & Support

Effective April 1, 2002, Bering has discontinued our MultiPac Jaz 85xx Removable Disk Subsystems due to supply limitations from Jaz’s manufacturer, IOMEGA Corporation. 

All valid warranties will be honored per Bering’s limited warranty policy. Bering will make our best effort to provide repair support for MultiPac Jaz units beyond the warranty period. However, at this time Bering is unable to find a reliable supply of Jaz drives to make repairs. We encourage our MultiPac Jaz customers to consider upgrading their systems with our OptiPac-3 magneto-optical disk drives. Please click here for details on our special limited time upgrade offer.

RAIDRUNNER End-of-Life Support

Bering has discontinued service and repair support of RAIDRUNNER 5-drive and 10-drive disk arrays. There are no plans for any product development or enhancements.

The final version of firmware, 5332 and for software, R·Rex 1.90 are available on our website in the Downloads section in Service. Users Manuals are available for download as well. Please review Bering’s disclaimer prior to downloading and using these materials.
